Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced HR Generalist to join our dynamic team. The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in supporting various human resources functions, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and contributing to the overall success of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HR practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment and Onboarding:
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, resume screening, interviewing, and candidate selection
Coordinate and conduct new employee orientation to facilitate a smooth onboarding process and ensuring a smooth transition into the organization
2. Employee Relations:
Address and resolve employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner
Conduct investigations into workplace incidents and provide recommendations for. resolution.
Promote a positive and inclusive work environment
3. Conflict Management
Act as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters
Resolve workplace conflicts, conduct investigations, and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures
4. Performance Management:
Administer performance appraisal processes, providing guidance to employees and managers
Support managers in identifying and addressing performance issues
Assist in the development and implementation of performance improvement plans
5. Training and Development:
Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
Support career development initiatives and succession planning.
Facilitate training sessions on HR-related topics
6. HR Policies and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Update and maintain HR policies and procedures in alignment with legal requirements and industry best practices
7. Compensation & Benefits Management:
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks
Address employee inquiries regarding benefits and facilitate open enrolment processes
Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries
8. HR Data Management & Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and databases
Generate reports and analyse HR metrics to support decision-making & compliance purposes
9. Employee Engagement:
Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction
Organize company events and activities to promote a positive workplace culture
Coordinate employee recognition programs
Qualifications:
Relevant education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
10 years of proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proficient in HRMS and standard MS Office applications.
