Position Summary:
The HR Executive is responsible for executing and managing HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills to support the HR department in ensuring that all HR activities are aligned with the company’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Recruitment and Onboarding:
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and selecting candidates.
• Coordinate with department heads to understand staffing needs and create job descriptions.
• Conduct background checks and reference verifications for potential employees.
• Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation, paperwork, and initial training.
• Employee Relations:
• Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related queries, concerns, and issues.
• Mediate and resolve conflicts between employees or between employees and management.
• Foster a positive workplace environment and promote employee engagement initiatives.
• Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to improve retention strategies.
• Performance Management:
• Assist in developing and implementing performance appraisal systems and processes.
• Monitor and track employee performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.
• Collaborate with managers to identify training and development needs for employees.
• Support the implementation of employee development programs and succession planning.
• Compliance and Policy Implementation:
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
• Assist in the development and updating of HR policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data confidentiality.
• Handle disciplinary actions and terminations in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
• HR Administration:
• Maintain and update employee databases and HR information systems (HRIS).
• Prepare HR reports and analytics for management review.
• Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave management.
• Coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee compensation.
• Employee Engagement and Development:
• Organize employee engagement activities, such as team-building events, recognition programs, and wellness initiatives.
• Support learning and development initiatives by coordinating training sessions and workshops.
• Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives within the organization.
Qualifications:
• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
• Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field (preferred).
• HR certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar (preferred).
• Experience:
• 2-5 years of experience in human resources or related roles.
• Experience in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in HR software and MS Office applications.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Work Environment:
• Typically works in an office setting.
• May require occasional travel for recruitment events, training sessions, or meetings at other company locations.
• Requires interaction with employees across all levels of the organization.
