What you will be doing at Evalueserve

• The position is of an Associate with the Research Management support team of a reputed Investment bank client of ours

• The role involves working closely with the Research management team based either in Japan and Hong Kong

• The role is centered on measuring the performance and output of our Research analysts, Research teams & assess our overall business vis-à-vis the competitors

• It involves extensive analysis of data as well as managing projects & initiatives to help drive the strategy of the department in different regions

• The successful candidate will be a confident self-starter with strong communication and analytical skills, who works well in a team and can manage and prioritize multiple tasks within deadlines

• Strong Excel skills are a must as the role involves analysis of large and complex data chunks

• In addition, the candidate must have the ability to present in an effective way & extract key takeaways and convey them in an actionable form to senior stakeholders

• Compose correspondence in Japanese and English, effectively communicate across different levels/teams.

• Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office.

• Manage routine meeting schedule update.

• Administrative support for project meeting arrangement and set up meetings on firm platform.

• Respond to regional demand on performance metrics on various dimensions.

• Work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Respond to Ad hoc requests/management projects.

What we’re looking for

• Any Graduate with Japanese language N1 certification

• 1-5 years’ work experience in similar profile, 1+ year within financial industry

• Japanese and English is a must, business level.

• Having knowledge of Mandarin will be an advantage

• High attention to details, always aim high quality deliverables.

• Excellent email/written communication skills.

• Excellent time-management with the ability to multitask and prioritize.

• Flexible and adaptable to the changing needs and nature of the role.

• Self-motivated and organized.

• MS Office (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
